Urban Decay Sale

Yo.

Just a quick post here, there has been a huge sale at Urban Decay! I recently purchased some lose pigments for $5 each! Loooovvee the colors,(I purchased Smog, Goddess, Shag, and Shattered) but seriously hate the packaging! If you purchase, don't even try to use the brush inside the packaging straight on your lids, believe me, you will regret it! Also, the Smoke Out Eye Pencils are $5 as well as the Ultraglide Lip Gloss!
Why did I link to the clearance page... I see the apocalyptic nail kit I've been wanting for some time now... and it's $10 off! I really don't need it though, I'm waiting for a shipment of OPI to come that I ordered on eBay. Might I recommend my seller? tickledpink4u is amazing! Combines shipping, great prices, discontinued colors and pre-sale colors, and different brands: OPI, China Glaze, CND, Essie and a few more I believe! I have ordered more than once and will definitely go back!

In case you were wondering what shades I bought...

OPI Boris & Natasha from the Russian Collection
Essie Tart Deco from the Spring 2010 Collection
OPI Lincoln Park After Dark from the Chicago Collection (I know, it's a crime I don't own it already!)
OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui from the Hong Kong Collection
For swatches of the colors, see Nail Gal. I love checking that site whenever I am contemplating new colors...

Preview of future posts: Essence Nail Polish Review, Red Dead Redemption and the hold it's had on my life, and probably something about zombies or Fallout, just because I love them both :)

Sale Alert and Slight Ramblings.

Well, I made the duck blue because I'd never seen a blue duck before and I wanted to see one. Ah Billy Madison was great. But, not what this post is about! I just got back from Bath & Body works, and at the moment they have their semi-annual sale! Take extra advantage of the low low prices with a $10 off $40 coupon (from the email, for those who get it, coupon code online is SALE40) Ah I just love sales, don't you?

Seventeen readers can get a free bottle of Nicole by OPI at Ulta. Link here. Sadly, the Ulta by me, which google failed to tell me, is not open yet. What a bummer, man. I guess I'm going to miss out on the awesome free $8 nail polish ._.

By the way, I got some hand cream at Bath & Body that I am absolutely loving right now! C.O. Bigelow lemon hand treatment. It smells insanely wonderful! I just wish there was more in the little bottle. Perhaps I shall go back and stock up on some... But, there is also one more item from this brand that I pretty much can not live without. The Cinnamint Mentha Lip shine. Awesome smell, great taste, and it makes your lips tingle - in a good way. they were 5/$15 at my B&B, which is a great deal seeing as though the retail on the little bottle of lip gloss is &7.50.

Happy Shopping!

Manicure A

First actual post here we go!

First off, let me apologize for the hideous picture, I took it using my macbook pro, since, at the moment, I actually don't have a digital camera (saving up for a Cannon Digital Rebel DSLR camera!) I tried to take a closer picture, but even with iglasses, it just wasn't happening tonight =/

So, here is my first manicure to share! Nothing special, just a simple pink/dark grey nail using OPI colors!
The pink is D.C. Cherry Blossom and the Gray is Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees with dots of the opposite colors on each nail. (I'll do a post about my nail tools sometime soon! They are definitely worth mentioning!) The top coat is Seche Vite and for a base I used Seche Perfect Nail Rebuild that was free with the purchase of two china glaze colors at Sally Beauty Supply.

Seche Perfect Nail Rebuild... now this is actually a product I wish I would NOT have bought! There is a warning on the back that says:
This product contains a chemical that is known to the state of California to cause cancer.
What the heck?! You would think that this would be taken off the market in general! But alas, it does what it claims to do.

However, I think I will keep searching for the right base/strengthening/rebuilding product for my nails. I'm too scared to get cancer of the finger...

On a completely different note, I apologize for the hideous layout and background image and such, I plan on making a whole new template if I can! How fun! My graphic design skills can be put to use!

Afternoon, good sir or madam.

So. Here it is.
A blog. I can not believe I am actually trying this out, so let's see how long this lasts.
What to expect you ask?
Well, I am honestly not too sure. I like video games... a lot... so there will most likely be a lot about that. And books. Books are pretty cool. Also, makeup and nail polish. I have had an addiction lately, and I figured that if I'm going to keep buying, I might as well do something with it.
So insert lame cliché here, and enjoy what is to come!
